Using a unique technique she developed, she created a painting with a color palette of masking tape and wallpaper on canvas. Her work 'The Difference Between Darkness and Light' emphasizes the light emanating from the fire of difference, from which emerged the portrait of the grandmother of the sad woman she met. It was the memory of that grandmother that gave the woman strength even in the long years of darkness, on her way to freedom. The words spoken in the separation ceremony represent the hope and belief in the good that is yet to come
